Interesting NFL matchups next week

CHI @ MIA: two pathetic teams nobody cares about playing tired, sloppy football on a night where everyone has better things to do on a channel nobody gets. Way to sell Thursday night football, NFL.

BUF @ CIN: now that Buffalo avoided going 0-16, they can resume locking up the #1 pick.

GB @ MIN: Favre’s last chance to stick it to his old team. His original old team. Oh, and it’s only his last chance until his next post-retirement campaign.

BAL @ CAR: John Fox continues his coordinator interview campaign.

ARI @ KC: the fact that both of these teams are in their respective divisional races speaks to how pathetic the divisions are (and how surprising the Chiefs have been).

DET @ DAL: battle of the mediocre backup QBs (and one mediocre backup head coach).

OAK @ PIT: first 3,000 female fans get an “I was raped by Big Ben!” terrible towel with a list of Roethlisberger’s favorite bars on the back.

SEA @ NO: with Seattle’s pathetic road record, this game should quickly turn to endless shots of Pete Carroll and Reggie Bush.

TB @ SF: no really, the 49ers are going to make the playoffs this year.

IND @ NE: a legitimately interesting game…

NYG @ PHI: time for all the media types who keep calling the Giants the best team in the NFC to start backpedaling when NJ chokes this one away.

DEN @ SD: line on AJ Smith firing Norv Tuner to save his own job is at -3500
