I can’t believe Seattle let the G-Men score all those points in garbage time… they should’ve kept crushing them like a college team. Break Eli’s arm or something while he’s trying to save face. I guess that’s why I’m not a coach.
I saw some stat somewhere before the Denver game that 85% of people on Yahoo pick the Pats to win. What have the Pats done to show they have a good team this year? Trade their best receiver? Almost lose to the Jets? Did Belichick have a brand new pair of sweatpants for this game? I don’t get it. The Broncos are the real deal. Forget all that Jake Plummer nonsense, because it doesn’t matter if you have him or Cutler in there, you’re still going to win with that team.
Indy won, which everyone knew would happen. It would’ve been nice to see the Jags beat the snot out of them, just to save us all the heartache of Indy going 14-2 and losing in the first game of the playoffs again. There’s still a lot of games for them to hopefully blow it though.
My boys in Cinci beat up on Pittsburgh… I would’ve liked to have seen Rothlisburger get beat up a little more, but I’ll take what I can get. I’m not a huge Bengals fan, but I like their team and I’ve grown to dislike the Steelers.
Packers won… which stinks. I was hoping they could go for a top 3 draft pick and maybe get a decent running back or a Brady Quinn (Aaron Rogers doesn’t have the job yet). Don’t get me wrong, their my team, I’m happy that they won… but I’d be a lot happier if I didn’t live in Wisconsin. I already saw a guy on the news talking about how they can turn the year around and finish above .500. You’ve gotta be kidding me right? They let John Kitna pass for 3/4 of a mile on us and barely squeeked by simply because the other team is that bad. If this team wins more than 3-4 games it is nothing short of a miracle. Alas, until they lose the next game we’ll all have to suffer through “Pack is Back†talk from the locals.
Got my fantasy game won. Carson Palmer was a stud again. So was the Cinci defense (at least with all the turnovers, etc). I started Javon Walker at the last second, smart move. Still have Reggie Bush to pad the stats on MNF. I hope the Saints come out and crush the Falcons. The folks in NOLA deserve it.
