Before the season started, I went around telling people the Bucks would be bad. On paper, they have a good team. The problem? I think my prediction was that Michael Redd would be averaging 30 points a game, Mo Williams would be shooting 3-15 on 3’s every night with maybe 4 assists and Andrew Bogut would have something like 8 points and 8 rebounds a game. I guess I wasn’t far off.
Look at the latest loss to the Nets. How in the world do you let Bogut go without scoring? Get the guy the ball! Keep giving him the ball until he starts scoring. Absolutely no excuse.
Seriously, I try not to do this (except in Mike Sherman’s case), but the coach has to go. I don’t care if that means we have to go back to watching Stats with Stotts at half time, all that matters is he isn’t calling the plays. I don’t know how many times you can let teams find guys open under the basket every night without attempting to make an adjustment. I don’t get how you can have a top-tier frontcourt and a point guard who doesn’t try to get them the ball. I don’t get how you can, night after night, rely on a guy who is an all-star on stats only to carry your offense. Sure Redd is a good player, but he’s not Jordan. You need to have more people involved. Stotts is just a bad coach. I don’t care how the Sonics did when he was there, he wasn’t running the show. Everybody knows that Karl had full control over that team. Stotts was just filling a slot on the payroll. It’s time we get him off ours.
Alright… since I don’t care about the NBA that much, this will hopefully be the last mention of it for quite some time.
In other news, tons of kids with too much money and free time are camping out right now in front of Best Buys, Targets, Circuit Citys and other electronics stores waiting for the PS3. All I have to say is, GET A JOB YOU SCHMUCKS!
