So we’ve got the Brewers coming up big late in a game for a change (way to be mega huge in the clutch mr Braun) and “Cross-your-fingers” Cordero holding on to a 3 run lead. Looks like the Cubs are a few innings away from being a game and a half back.
On top of that, the Packers are on their way to a meaningless preseason win. Rogers is actually putting together a few halfway decent drives and looking like a semi-competent QB.
Not such a bad night.
Downside to all this? We’re getting up at 5:30AM to drive to a store an hour away, arrive when it opens and hopefully buy a Wii. The word on the street is a shipment will have arrived with the systems on board. I will now proceed to pound on every piece of wood I can find.
